I used this to track attendance for my large (100-300) college classes. It used to be that students did not have to watch ads in order to check in. I was annoyed that students could not view their own attendance record without paying, but whatever. Would've given Arkaive 4 stars. Skip ahead to now, where students have to pay to do anything useful without being bombarded with ads. This is terrible. Students are already paying out the ass for higher ed costs, so stacking another buck or two on top of that is just mean. The only thing I can imagine is that the Arkaive folks saw the money skimming software from Office Space, and got the idea was that the students wouldn't notice the extra dollar slipping away after they'd already hemorrhaged their tuition for the semester. Highly recommend doing anything else.

This worked for about 2 months for a class that required it and then just literally stopped working occasionally and then just entirely. i have never once been able to sign in since maybe a month or so ago and the location services is on, my internet is on, other people are able to use but others are also unable to use it. Honestly a horrible app that can't sign me in correctly even if I'm literally in the exact location of my class on Google maps.

This app is a hunk of garbage. I even paid for the premium but it tells me to get the paid version every time I enter! The attendance history is not working either. The app is unreliable and it's a waste of money because it keeps on telling you to upgrade and the premium features don't even work.

Not only is this app amazing, but i can't say enough good things about the support staff behind it. This is our second semester using it in my student organization and we couldn't be more happy. The fact that the baseline model is free for both administrator and student makes this by far the best app for geolocation attendance. Any time I reach out, the support is there to help extremely quickly. The app has worked well for us with very few hiccups. We cannot recommend this enough!!!

The app is terrible. The adds are intrusive, especially when in the middle of class, and the attendance viewing service does not work even when you have a subscription. Do your students a favor and have them sign an attendance sheet instead.

Let me start by saying that I wish that I could rate below one star. When I was required to start using this app for my college classes, it was sort of ok, despite the terrifying ads for the premium version that make it look like my attendance wasn't counted. Now they've made it so every time you sign in you have to sit through an ad. What a waste. And on top of that it never works properly anyway, I always end up having to use the website, because the app crashes randomly and the location services don't work properly. Another review said below that ads have no place in higher education, and I agree with that. What in gods name makes an app that records location and a single button press worth 0.99 a month, we have people out here releasing entire unofficial firmware and rom updates for phones for absolutely free, and these a**h***s have the audacity to think their bloated, slow, garbage, ad ridden, location recording, GPS ignoring, 4G data wasting, dated looking, not connected servers havin', beg for money-ing, Android crashing, RAM wasting, battery destroying, wh**e of a service deserves to have a place in any classroom at all. I sincerely hope that ArkaiveInc fails spectacularly
