Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Arbor Parent & Guardian Portal on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Would be nice if it could scan QR Codes so that I don't have to use a separate app to scan the Lateral Flow Device QR code (or use a magnifying glass to read the serial number). Also app seems to hang when returning to the app after a short delay? If it insists on logging me out, then at least re-display the login screen rather than forcing me to close and restart the app.

Waste of time: Impossible to make school dinner/meal payments. If you go to the payment page, it just flickers. I just wish my son's school moved over onto another platform. In the present state, it would only be worthy of 0 out of 5. Unfortunately, we don't even have the option for that. So it has to be a 1 out of 5.

Doesn't save payment details. Such a nuisance especially now more and more people use Apple/Google pay so don't have their cards to hand to enter each time. Also signing in is not seamless, especially if only one child - why do I have to find the school etc, should be one click access

Why do I have to log out and log back in to choose to see my other child at a different school but in the same academy....totally useless. I'm using the same email address and password so a pretty damn pointless step. Why does it keep reloading on progress the flicker drives me mad, I've never seen such a poorly designed app.

Payment screen is flickering and won't load so can not top up account. This needs to be sorted asap. Not acceptable on something that means a child has a hot dinner! Would give no stars but can't.

Used to work fine but now I can't top up my child's school dinner account as the screen just flickers when I click on the link. Was happy with the app until this happened.

Say goodbye to paper slips and emails. Arbor lets you book parent/guardian consultation slots, register your child for a club or trip, and manage payments all from one place. You can also use it to check in on your child's attendance, behavior & academic progress.

Arbor is only for parents at schools using Arbor Management Information System (MIS). If you're not sure whether this applies to you, we recommend contacting your school office.

Use Arbor to:
- Take a look at your child's key attendance information, including their average attendance for the year so far
- Edit contact details for your child such as your home address or phone number
- Register your child for an after-school club
- Register your child for an upcoming school trip
- Take a look at your child's behavior information, including positive & negative behavior points awarded this year
- Manage your child's payment accounts and pay for meals or trips directly
- Track your child's academic progress, including the targets they're working towards this year
- Download report cards
- Book slots at parent/guardian consultations
- See your child's timetable
- Add new medical information about your child
- Check upcoming homework assignments
