About this app

The Isra and Miraj are the two parts of the journey of prophet Muhammad (saw), according to the Islam, the prophet Muhammad took during one night around the year 621. The Isra and Miraj was a physical and spiritual journey. The Quran surah al-Isra describes this journey in outline, and the hadith about Isra and Miraj comes with greater details about the journey by the reports, teachings, deeds and sayings of the prophet Muhammad (saw). In the Isra part of the journey, the prophet Muhammad is said to have transported by the Buraq which is described as "winged baby-horse-like white beast" to the the farthest mosque which is Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem where prophet Muhammad (saw) have led the other prophets in prayer. The prophet Muhammad (saw) subsequent ascent into the heavens which is known as the Miraj. and this journey and ascent in one of the most celebrated dates in Islam.
