A very nice simple and easy app tò use without large distracting ads. Only a couple of things would improve this and make it a even better and stronger app. Cross references to verses in bible with hot links, and references to Strings Concordance. I realize this would greatly increase the app size so perhaps having two versions of this app may be a good idea. Since some have already mentioned changing font size and you informing you are working on that, I merely mention it again as a friendly reminder. But while your at this any way, please consider night mode too. Thank you for a very thoughtful app. Even as is, its easy to give it 4 stars.

Nice, but it's not very user-friendly in its UI. I don't want random sayings from the book, I want to read it for myself-- in its whole entirety, not broken up in separated chapters or sections, which seems typical of all of these apps involving this particular document...

Nice translation & presentation. Text is a bit small.

When will the promised update arrive? It's been almost a year and there still hasn't been any update. You haven't replied to my last email either. Please don't discontinue the project. At least just release an update with increased font size!

About this app

The Gospel of Thomas (Wisdom of the Ages #1)

"These are the hidden words that the living Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas Thomas wrote them down."

This app contains the full text of Mark M. Mattison's public domain translation of The Gospel of Thomas as published on Gospels.Net. The Gospel of Thomas is an early Christian era non-canonical document containing a list of 114 sayings and parables attributed to Jesus in a non-narrative form. Many scholars argue that the core of the document dates back to the earliest era of Christianity, 50-100 CE, and thus that it offers important insights into the earliest history of Christianity.

The app offers the user the ability to randomly select an individual saying for contemplation, as well as the ability to choose an individual saying by title, to search the full text of the document for sayings containing a particular word, and of course view the full text of the document.

Much more information about The Gospel of Thomas and the Thomasine Christian tradition can be found at the Gnosis Archive in the Gnostic Society Library's "The Gospel of Thomas Collection" - http://gnosis.org/naghamm/nhl_thomas.htm

This app contains no advertising, gathers no user data beyond what the Google Play store makes available, and requires no permissions to run.
