About this app

TBSC is the first local app for Theravada Buddhism in Chinese. It contained over hundreds of “Suttas”, from the Tipitaka (Pali Canon) translated into Chinese recognized by subject domain experts. These Suttas are actual written discourses historically handed down by the disciples of the Buddha. Buddha is the supreme teacher who founded Buddhism nearly 2500 years ago.

TBSC is dedicated to share the gift of the Dhamma in an easy and accessible way to the general public. Interesting materials about Buddhism, chanting audios and free teaching on Insight meditation (Mindfulness) are conveniently made available with just a press of the button.
