A tool for effective memorizing any textual information when learning foreign languages, including words, phrases, idioms, sentences, dialogs, poems.

«Practice makes perfect»

Using this app, you will learn at least 3,000 words or phrases in a foreign language in a year, spending 40-50 minutes on training a day: 10 new words or phrases per day – is 300 per month and 3,600 per year. This is certainly feasible! Perhaps, the first few months will be a little difficult to work with a new system. But in 3 months, your active vocabulary will rise to at least 900 words and phrases. And even if, for some time, you cannot regularly learn new material, but you will repeat the “old” words and phrases according to the repetition plan for 15-20 minutes a day, you will never (!) forget them.

The system of interval repetitions implemented in the app will help you to recall words, phrases, and sentences “subconsciously”, without associations.

Those who want to start learning Spanish and immediately develop the listening and speaking skills, we advise to study using our context dictionary created on the educational series “Extr@”. This context dictionary contains more than 2,200 words and phrases in the order they appear in the series. Having learned, for example, words and phrases from the first episode, you can immediately begin to practice listening. You then can add your favourite sentences to your database in the app to memorize them and practice speaking.

Memorizing new information is based on the unique System of Interval Repetitions (SIR2⁸). It differs from the well-known flash cards in a more intuitive and flexible repetition algorithm.

The system includes several basic techniques: intensive memorizing; interval repetition; memorizing large texts; breaking the stuck repetition loop. All these techniques are implemented in the app and are described in the user manual in text or video formats.

Repetitool is an interval repetition planner. It automatically generates a repetition plan for each day based on previous repetitions. You will see your plan for several days ahead and will be able to adjust the intensity of your workouts without worrying which words to repeat. This is especially useful when your database exceeds several thousand records.

New words, phrases, sentences, or any texts can be entered manually. But large amount of data, such as dictionaries, reference books, poems, movie subtitles, etc., can be prepared in advance in a spreadsheet editor (e.g., Excel) and downloaded via Google Drive. You can upload 100,000¹ pages of textual information into the app. For example, the Oxford Essential Spanish Dictionary with over 40,000 words and phrases can easily fit, and this is about 500 printed pages.

The application interface is designed in a way that even on a smartphone with a large screen, you can use the app with one hand only, for example, while in public transport.
