Notifications for news alerts don't open the article, just opens the app. No dark mode or reading mode like NY Times or Wash Post apps. Can't set it to push my suburb's news to the top. Sometimes, it's just showing me a sloppy webview of their website, complete with double logo banners and asking me to log in despite already being so. When I subscribed, I felt good supporting local news. But I can't customize notifications to my area or even separate my suburb from others, so I unsubscribed.

This app is terrible! It takes over your phones audio and auto plays media without asking for permission. There is no way to turn it off. It also terminates bluetooth audio connections and music you were listening to starts playing through the phone's speakers. Needs to be fixed yesterday!

Ridiculous. Over runs your phone. Attempts to cancel or unsubscribe to notifications fail and continue to send. Contacting them leads to nowhere.

Frequent erratic paging, often only pp 1-2 available. Select Sports or other sections and page backwards to News usually works. Recently freezes on a given page when enlarged to read. Close app and reopen sometimes fixes it but not always.

It says I'm paying for unlimited mobile access, but often I click on a story and it takes me to a web version and tells me I have to subscribe to read it. NOT FULL ACCESS

I pay for a subscription and there are still tons of pop up ads. I also click on a link to a story and it's behind a paywall, even though I have a paid subscription.
