OK, it's a start, it just needs lots of work to make it fully functional and helpful. I recommend downloading it if you are connected to Nowata Public Schools, whether you have a student that attends there or whether you are a staff member. Areas that need improvement are notifications. Calendar events should be included as notifications, and then, of course, the ability to opt out of types of notifications. Calendar events need to be viewed in different formats and there needs to be an option to include the events on personal Google calendars. We should be able to pick and choose which types of events to follow. The news feed needs improvement along with alerts. Finally, the App needs to compatible with more devices. The documentation says it works with Android 4.1 and above. I have tried to install it on two tablets that have much later Android operating systems and it indicates incompatibility. This is ridiculous. The App should work on Android tablets, whether there is a SIM card present or not. In summary, download if you need information about Nowata Schools -- it is the only thing available. Hopefully it will be improved immensely in the near future..
