This Surah -Al Maryam is the 19th chapter of the Quran which consist 98 verses ( ayat ), describe the rewards for those whoever are faithful to God and punishment's for those who don't.

Surah Al mAryam is an amazing surah with many wonderful aspects to reflect upon. The most amazing aspect is the story of Maryam, the mother of Jesus, peace be upon them, and her faith, struggle and patience at the time of adversity.

And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten."

But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.

And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree, it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates. (Quran 19:23-25)

When Maryam is suffering and depressed, Allah gives her hope and commands her to shake the trunk of the palm tree. If you would have seen a palm tree, you will know that even a strong man cannot shake its trunk. But Allah commands to this woman, through the newborn baby Jesus, while the mother is still weak from childbirth. This is a lesson for us that we have to make our efforts and Allah will give rizq. We can never give up trying with believe that Allah will give us something without any effort of our own. We have to make efforts and then trust Allah for the results.
