About this app

Wavelet transformation has been popular and new in many area of science, engineering, music, geography and medical. While FFT tell you what are the frequency, CWT tell you when it happens. It is similar to spectrogram with a clear starting point. Wavelet is able to capture dynamic burst of sound that traditional Fourier transform could not.

- Touch the signal graph to show its wavelet transformation.
- Touch area of interest in the wavelet graph to display its frequency.

Please note that the CWT graph is draw in line with the signal graph. And the wavelets is drawn according to the piano frequency along the vertical axis.

For faster response, the app automatic displays area around the dominate frequency.
