Needs the emotional squeals and drones. Like a shocked emoji button for his woohoo.. a sad emoji button for his sad noise... et cetera. Also need to be able to send the sounds to others with the app via mms for semi coded communication.

Each letter makes a different sound so if you learn the sounds you could translate r2d2 from the movie! He might be saying something completely different than what you think...

This is such a cute and funny app! I loved it! I've got some suggestions, though - it would be even better if you could also add R2's squeal when he's scared/hurt and his little bleep when he's sad. It would help in making the translator much more expressive.

Type the same sentence twice and get different translations. Waned to do an R2 style goodbye to Princess Leia and the literal translation to "Princess Leia has died"was "Mums died". How unexpected and poignant.

I think this app is out of this world! Haha get it? Anyway, two things: One, you should be able to input r2d2's language--for example, while the movie plays, capture r2d2's responses using the mic--and receive an english translation. Two, definitely add the ability to send an audio message to a friend over text or snapchat. I only rated 3 stars because there's no feature like the ones I listed--or any other feature for that matter. Overall, it's a cool app, but it can only be used for your own enjoyment. I'll be looking forward to a possible future update!

The ability to sound interpret sound from other R2D2's loaded in other devices to communicate between the 2 or more. For kids to indirectly communicate for fun. Like how people speak pig-latin and respond to each other.
