About this app

A complete set of 25 stories of Vikram and Betal. Clean and great interface for better reading Vikram and Betal stories.

These are inspirational stories written by - Baital Bhatt. He was one of the 9 gems of king Vikramaditya. The original name of these stories is - Vetala Panchavimshati which was originally written in Sanskrit. These stories were edited by Somdev in 11th century in his 12th book.

The plot of story is simple and it runs in a loop. Everyday legendary king Vikramaditya would take Betal in his back to take him to a tantrik. But Betal would go in a condition that if Vikram would speak a single word, he would fly back to the same tree where he used to found hung. Then he would narrate a story and put a question to Vikram. Being righteous and king of wisdom Vikram would give his answer and Betal would fly back to the same tree.
