The Salsabeel Central School, established in 1995, is a CBSE School that is located at Mundur on a 12 acre picturesque land with rich greenery. The School obtained CBSE Affiliation in 2001(Affiliation Code 930310) and the first batch appeared for the AISSE in 2001. In 2008, it was upgraded as Senior Secondary with Commerce Subjects. In 2009, it got CBSE approval for Science Subjects.

There are five stages to the life at Salsabeel School: Kindergarten, Primary School, Middle School, Secondary School and Senior Secondary School. The Arabic word ‘Salsabeel’ has the meaning ‘The stream of Paradise’. The Salsabeelites hold their hands together to preserve the purity and divinity of this stream. We believe the Qur’an verse “Lakum deenukum waliya deen” which means “to you, be your way and to me, mine”. From the light of this verse, Salsabeelites are guided to recognize, accept and celebrate differences. We offer a Value Based Education for our students and train them to tolerate with the diversities.

Salsabeel has an eco-friendly campus which encourages the children to protect the nature. We give high value to each individual and we provide an ideal atmosphere to cherish the talents of each child and to support each of them for their intellectual, physical, practical, moral and emotional growth. We emphasize practical learning and our teaching staff is committed to provide a happy and secure atmosphere to foster the personal growth of each child. The extra-curricular activities include arts & craft, dance, music, sports, community service, etc. The school conducts various activities which inspire healthy competition and instill the team spirit.

We are proud to announce that we have earned an envious reputation. We have won the Haritha Vidyalayam (Green School) Award of the Kerala State Government, the Environment Protection Award of V-Guard and the appreciation of Forest Research Institute. We obtained the best environment friendly school Award by Veegaland, Harithakairali Trophy by Kerala Citizen Forum, and a Certificate from World Vision School of Moral Education, Thrissur. Our school is a proud member of National Green Corps which is the school eco-club group of Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India, State Committee of Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Kerala and Kerala State Pollution Control Board. We maintain a Herbal Garden with the support of Oushadhi. We got immense appreciation for our activities like Road Safety Project and Vegetable Harvesting Festival. With the interest of our children, we conduct free medical camps, Onam kit distribution, etc. for poor people and visit the institutions for underprivileged people to help and support them.
