নফল নামাজ সমূহ যেকোনো সূরা বা আয়াত দিয়ে পড়া যায়।নফল নামাজ~nofol namaz সূরার তারতিব বা ধারাক্রম জরুরি নয়।নফল নামাজগুলো অধিকাংশই সুন্নত।দুই রাকাতের বেশি নফল নামাজের নিয়ত করে তা ছেড়ে দিলে বা যেকোনো জোড় সংখ্যা পূর্ণ হওয়ার পর বিজোড় সংখ্যায় নফল নামাজ ভেঙে গেলে; পরে এ জন্য শুধু দুই রাকাত আদায় করা ওয়াজিবহবে।

Namaz: গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নফল নামায সূরা কিরাআত নীরবে পড়তে হয়; তবে রাতের নফল নামাজ ইচ্ছা করলে সরবেওপড়া যায়। বিভিন্ন কিতাবে বিভিন্ন নফল নামাজের বিভিন্ন সূরা কিরাআত ও বিশেষ বিশেষ নিয়ম বর্ণিত আছে। সম্ভব হলে তা অনুসরণ করা উত্তম; তবে জরুরি নয়।

নফল নামাজে যত ইচ্ছা তত দীর্ঘ কিরাআত পাঠ করা যায়। এতে রাকাত দীর্ঘ করার জন্য এবং তিলাওয়াতের পরিমাণ বৃদ্ধির জন্য একই রাকাতে বিভিন্ন সূরা ও বিভিন্ন আয়াত পড়া যায় এবং একই রাকাতে একই সূরা বারবার পড়াযায়।
