About this app

«Бог, предивная творяй чудеса и великими воздаваяй «дарованиями с верою к Нему притекающим, да даст «мзду (как) чтущим сию книгу, (так) и послушающим; и «да сподобит их благая части, со всеми благоугодившими «Ему от века!» (Слова Софрония, святейшаго Патриарха Иерусалимскаго, котораго память 11 марта).
Сим святым желанием и свою книгу запечатлел составитель Иван Иванович Дмитревский, муж благочестивый и ученый. Родился он 16 сент. 1754 года в г. Михайлове, Рязанской губернии, обучался в Рязанской семинарии и Московской академии, после учительства в родной семинарии и секретарства в консистории в 1788 году переведен в Спб. на должность переводчика при Св. Синоде, откуда в 1790 году отправлен в Тамбовскую консисторию секретарем, где и продолжал службу по 1800 год: а в этом году поступил на службу при Московском университете и определен там учителем сперва Российскаго Этимологическаго, потомъ Латинскаго синтактическаго и Греческаго Этимологическаго классов. В 1805 году пожалован чином Коллежскаго Ассессора и от службы уволился. Умер в Рязани семидесяти пяти лет от роду, 2-го апр. 1829 года. Особенно известно и достойно известности его «Изъяснение на Литургию», которое в первый раз издано было в Москве 1804 г., и затем несколько раз; о другихъ его сочинениях.
