About this app

The Preventive Maintenance Combating Suicide (PMCS) App gives you an easy, one stop shop, for resources that can assist in combating the epidemic of Veteran Suicide. This app is put into military terms so Veterans can relate to them. This app is not trying to recreate the wheel, instead it is steering the vehicle in the right direction.
In the Army, PMCS is an acronym used for maintaining equipment. We modified the acronym for appeal among the veteran community. The epidemic of Veteran suicide is not curable, but it can be PREVENTABLE.

The features of this app are:
Code Red: Double tap access to the Veterans Crisis Hotline.
Immediate Action: Access to self-help training modules.
Remedial Action: A comprehensive list of support groups for easy availability.
AAR: Share your story to provide inspiration for living to other Veterans who maybe be feeling suicidal.
Buddy Map: Find others in your area to offer support.
