It's amazing because it's one of the only apps that does what it does, but it doesn't do that very well. Users are allowed to manually set their online status? That's not right, I don't want to see "online" under the name of someone who has uninstalled the app 3 years ago. The morse alphabet images don't rescale well, the proportions are not maintained, and the resolution is too low to make out the text properly. Being able to play a message before sending would be nice, and a night mode.

Great apps for morse operator or ham radio nowadays, adding another keyer type like double keyers iambic will be great. Cheers, 73.

So this app is great to try to learn morse but it would be soooooo much better if it had push notification so that you actually know when you receive a message.

The recorder is designed to record only extremely slow messages. So whenevwr you try to send anything faster than 5wpm, it will bug out and will just randomly decide what to record and what to not record. No one can understand messages like that.

MorseChat is exactly what I needed to learn to send and receive morse code with my father and sister-in-law. It records your transmission, and the recipient can play it back as many times as they want. Also allows you to re-record when you mess up keying something in. The ability to hear other people stumble and mess up is way more helpful than any automated trainer. Thanks, developer!
