This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Appearition 2.0 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The application will display a number of Points of Interest (POIs) and connects to Appearition's Experience Management System (EMS), which can be configured to display hundreds of experiences.

The application also uses Augmented Reality technology to augment experiences around objects, places, and sights, immersing users into a mix of virtual and real environments as they view the world through their mobile devices.

Attention users of Android 6.0 and above. Steps to rectify the permissions issue after installing the "Appearition 2.0" app:

1. Open “Settings” within your phone (i.e. icon that looks like a cog wheel)

2. Within Settings access “Application Manager”

3. Scroll through your list of apps until you see and can open “Appearition 2.0”

4. Click the “Permissions” item and toggle “Camera”, “Location”, “Storage”, & “Telephone” from off to “On”

5. Exit, and start the "Appearition 2.0" app which will now run

- Attention users of Android 6.0 and above.
Some devices running Android 6.0 and later versions, may cause apps to fail to run properly, due to a new permissions feature. A fix is being worked on currently. Please read more for instructions on what to do in the interim to overcome the issue.
