SBN started in New York in 1996 as Radio Seoul AM 1430. In 2010, it began broadcasting on the Internet using OS (Operating System) method to be at the forefront of the rapidly evolving media industry. SBN takes advantage of the ability to customize its programs and produce more community focused informational programming 24 hours a day to the Eastern US Korean communities. In addition, SBN also includes music, Entertainment and cultural programming. SBN will continue to prepare to broadcast beyond smart phones to smart TV, tablet PC’s and other emerging technologies, and expand its platform from radio-centered programming to TV and View-on-Demand services.
