I liked the app for it's consistency. I am not sure if the measurements I got were correct but they seemed to be the reverb for a fully furnished room with a laminate wood floor that was built around 1970 was 2.4 sec. I think that is reasonable. It is important to note you must use a consistent source of noise to get correct measurements. I would recommend putting some instructions on how to use it as a button off to the side. Nevertheless I appreciate the usability.

I am no audio expert but it seems to work pretty well for me. I don't know how to compare it with other things to know how accurate it is but doing it in multiple rooms seems to be relatively accurate from what I can hear.

This app seriously told me my reverb time was higher inside my vocal isolation booth (2+ seconds) than it was in a very echo-ey room. This is a non-functional app as far as I'm concerned.

app measures 0.2-0.3 in open landscape office and 0.3 in a large kitchen with two bare glass walls. using Nokia 8.

Doesn't work anymore

If I calculate tmf for your given example I get 0.26s. But the example states an RT of 0.24s. Is this discrepency reasonable? At what point would you decide that the discrepancy is too large and a new set of readings should be taken?

About this app

App for measuring Reverb Time in octaves or average in a really easy way.

Steps:
1. Press START
2. Clap your hands after the countdown (measuring step)
3. See results

To achieve optimum results, it is highly recommended to try to locate the device away from reflective surfaces and clap stick farther from the critical radius, so that the sound reverberated outweighs the direct one.
