About this app

Just Like Fish Swim School is a privately owned and operated swim school specialising in the provision of learn to swim lessons for babies up to junior squad and school level swimmers.

Just Like Fish Swim School is built on the foundation that Learning to Swim is “an asset for life”. We aim to do this by providing a high quality progressive program that will provide our students with the skills to be safe and thoroughly enjoy the water and all the benefits it brings in Australia.

The key ingredient to the success of our program and its implementation will be our teachers.

To ensure this is the case they will;

Be Austswim qualified.

Undergo full initial and ongoing training.

Believe and live the Just Like Fish Swim School values and ideals.

Our program has been devised by Swim School Director Damon Rodd. Damon has over 30 years experience in the aquatic industry with over 15 years as a national level swimmer and surf lifesaver. Following this, he started his first swim school that grew very quickly and was renowned for providing high quality lessons in a fun happy environment. He has also worked for YMCA of Sydney where he was the NSW Aquatics Manager along with managing 5 swim centre’s. Now, after a 5 year absence Damon is returning to his passion.

Damon is a qualified Learn to Swim instructor and Silver License Swim coach.
