It sounds simple, but that’s the basis of our approach to teaching swimming. We love swimming and we want you and your children to love it too!

There’s an amazing world of opportunity available to the competent swimmer: Water sports become a pleasure, water play becomes easier and, most importantly, safer. This is why we are so passionate about teaching children to swim and to love swimming, because all of our teachers enjoy the active, healthy lifestyle that swimming offers.

The GSS is a privately owned family run business. Our team consists of highly qualified, experienced and motivated swimming teachers and coaches. We work collaboratively to provide the most positive aquatic experience for all our swimmers.

SMALL CLASS SIZES
This is central to our teaching approach and what makes the GSS different to other swim schools. Our learn to swim class sizes are kept small and manageable to allow for more individual attention and more swimming time within each half hour lesson.
We are also particular with matching the kids in a class so the teachers can plan a successful and productive lesson plan.

Children respond to positive feedback. We’d rather tell a child what to do right than to tell them what they’re doing wrong. This method of positive development is about the child feeling good about their progress and avoiding any negatives.

WARM AND FRIENDLY – A FAMILY APPROACH
The pool water is kept heated to above 30 degrees, inviting for swimmers of all ages – and the warm atmosphere is not only found in the pool. GSS is a family run business, we understand the needs of parents and children and try to help as much as possible with your needs.
