This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Q8JA - JOURNALISTIC EXCELLENCE AWARD on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

The contest, named after the late Sheikh Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, was launched seven years ago, with blessing and support of (HH) the Prime Minister, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who spared no effort for developing the award, aimed at encouraging journalism excellence in Kuwait, creating competitive spirit among the journalists and promoting their skills to the level of international standards.

The previous sessions were noticeably successful, at various levels, particularly with respect of organization and participation, that were result of the success in four sessions, in tandem with notion and principle of creativity.

The award steering committee affirms on all occasions that it will press ahead on this path in terms of organization and development as well as promoting the award to the highest levels, matching the distinctive history of the Kuwaiti press.

The past session, in particularly, drew distinguished young journalists, thus three were selected and honored with financial awards for distinctive work. This was prelude to establishment of sections for the youth in the current fifth session, in addition to the general category.

This approach was in response to desire of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, who has repeatedly affirmed necessity of supporting and encouraging the young journalists and paving the way in front of them to demonstrate their journalistic skills in harmony with the general approach of the State of Kuwait of supporting the youth sector.
