De Luna Media fue conceptualizado en 2016 con la intención de satisfacer la demanda de un medio de comunicación digital para la creciente población hispana en el área de la Costa del Golfo. El trabajo en la estación comenzó a mediados de 2019 y el nombre fue elegido para resaltar la relación que existe entre nuestro área y su herencia hispana.
De Luna Media was conceptualized in 2016 to meet the demand for a digital media outlet for the growing Hispanic population in the Gulf Coast area. Work on the radio station began in mid-2019 and the name was chosen to highlight the relationship between our area and its Hispanic heritage.
