On the 17th of October, the Lebanese revolution was sparked and successfully unified the ranks of the nation, lifting sectarian and religious constraints. It is no surprise that this revolution achieved this kind of nation-wide quorum with its marches and demonstrations in all the regions and villages, gaining the support and advocacy of Lebanese within and without Lebanon.No wonder that its outcry and message reached the core of the system itself, igniting the conscience within, locked in the depth of its corps and institutions, to fight a widespread corruption deeply rooted in the body of a country refusing to die.

The Lebanese revolution succeeded in bringing back to our consciousness the true meaning of Revolution,for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, rose against corruption. Women, students and pupils filled the streets, removing their sectarian banners, donning their patriotic garments of pride and dignity. It was an untainted revolution, pure to the point that no oppression managed to have it corrupt its image of civility with that of violence, and unspoiled in its essence and content to the point that not even a shadow of doubt loomed in its patriotic identity and independent decision.

May we go on and may our revolution, the pearl of Arab revolutions,go on throughout squares and arenas. May it shake the thrones of corrupted politicians and tyrants. When the political power brings the country to its doom, the uprising and upheaval of every individual within the nation become their natural right, rather their national duty, in the quest of realizing the Lebanese dream, pride, and dignity, and restoring to the nation of the Phoenix its former glory, vigor, and might.
