Act Now, is a social media app dedicated to finding the truth about plastic waste, giving us all the chance of working together worldwide, by simply taking a photo of the plastic that we find in our daily lives, we can discover detail about the brands, types of plastic, what areas of the world are most polluted and why.

By taking part in this international survey to discover the answers is the only way to save us from this destructive material that threatens to kill us in our millions, strangle our wildlife, and destroy our environment for centuries to come.

Join us as part of an International survey to fight plastic waste. The first social Media platform to put an end to plastic pollution! Act Now is an App for the environment, that lets you take a photo of the plastic that identifies the brands that create the plastic pollution in towns, rivers, beaches, forests and Oceans.

Add a post, create a group, offer support, vote for friends and share what you find across other social media sites to expose the brands responsible for hurting the environment and identify the worst areas of plastic pollution. By using the power of social media we can work together to create the information that will give organisations and governments the power to change the way we manage plastic and control brands in the future.

We have created an App for you that is entirely Social, similar to the Facebook concept, fun to use, and with a proven record to keep members engaged and interested with a sense of achievement. Members can post, comment, support each other, and share with friends across other social networks, and create social groups that compete against each other.

From simply taking a photo of single piece of plastic waste, we can determine the precise location and type of packaging such as a bottle, bag, straw or wrapper, in fact the level of detail we can glean from single items from thousands of people is truly amazing.

With so much at stake for our environment, we need your help to further develop our technology as well as other data skillsets in order to produce accurate and defensible data to help us prepare for the future. As well as this with so many organisations getting involved we need to be able to hire more coordinators to communicate with organisations worldwide.

With your help we can work towards being the only source of information for plastic pollution, our vision is to get all of the organisations working together by using the App to help us discover the true extent of the damage that plastic has created today, and clear the planet of this toxic and destructive material.
