Difficult to get working and connected. Once everything was working, wish there was a time shift function for sunrise and sunset for outdoor lighting.

Can never log in. Have to change my password every time. Even though it says password change success, it will not work. Paid a lot of money for the lights and can't use them. This app sucks.

Am using it with a single multi-color LED bulb and no gateway. It mostly works. Downsides are: The timer function only works with scenes, not rooms. It does not seem to be able to set a pale color manually. You can do it from the picture feature. It loses connection to the bulb every time if the app is in front and the screen orientation changes. When in the background it loses connection to the bulb fairly often, and periodically crashes. On the plus side: Closing and reopening the app reconnects the bulb. It comes up pretty quickly. All the other functionality appears to work. I get very good range, at least ~30' and 3 rooms, sometimes more.

This app needs a lot of work, although it serves the essential functions. But that really doesn't satisfy me. The music section needs to be improved since no one downloads music straight to their phones anymore. Also the mic feature is nice, but the colors change too rapidly and it gets buggy real easily. I can push the button a few times and the whole app will freeze. This app has a lot of potential, but it certainly needs a rework. It would also be nice if i could switch the room to where the lights belong without having to disconnect them. Lastly, one of the very annoying requirements to even open the app, is to have your location settings on. This app should work through wifi or bluetooth, not location like many other smart lights I've purchased. The app also force closes independently pretty often too.

I cant connect 4 recessed lights with it going crazy and either disconnecting 2 of them or one, then I try to reset it on the app and it doesn't reset the light and wont show up to connect either so it's just lost. I'm very disappointed that I spent 150 for these useless lights. I have no use for them unless it's all 4. APP SUCKS! or lights idk but trash

Its a decent app with the iLintek recessed downlights. Although, the music mode and mic mode are not what I was hoping for. Music mode only lets you change the lights to music downloaded on your phone and mic mode stops working after a while of the screen turning off. I tried everything to make the app work in the background but it stops regardless. If they made the music mode work with 3rd party apps like Spotify or SoundCloud, it'd be perfect.
