This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Answer5: Family History on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

Become the family historian and preserve your family history. Answer5 is a unique, forward-looking genealogy app that simplifies writing out your personal and family history, which you can choose to share with your descendants as part of your contribution to your family history and to your legacy.

Family members ask you questions about yourself, and all you have to do is provide short 1-2 word responses to these questions (you can similarly ask your family members questions about themselves). The Answer5 app automatically articulates these responses into well written out responses that are organized as part of your personal and family history.

Your family members and eventually, your descendants will be able to view this history to easily learn more about their family history, family traditions and ancestors through your personal stories about your life experiences, motivations, and accomplishments. The goal is to remove the challenges that one currently faces in trying to learn about one’s family history and ancestors. Answer5 is the first app with the goal of allowing you to make it easy for your descendants to learn about their own family history and their ancestors through you, when you take on the role of a family historian for your family.
