Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Guardian 365 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Very difficult to configure, insufficient instructions when you log on with your account, add your device the image of your camera appears. Fine, you click the image it asks you for YOUR DEVICES PASSWORD if you set one as the DEVICE ADMIN. This had me confused with the account log in password. Finally got it working, however even on fibre optic NBN connection the image updates from Uniden server very slow. Uniden needs to provide adequate instructions in both their quick set up guide.

Do not buy any system that uses this app - it is garbage! The app is useless, wish I had known how bad this app was before purchasing the cctv. Almost never connects so can't view cctv remotely. When you do restart it the cameras stop working. I expected better from uniden

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Playback function is completely broken. What is the point in having cameras and not being able to access the playback? This app is trash.

Not able to add my devices. App says, device added but list is empty. On another version of the Guardian 365 app (live) I was able to add the cameras but they say 'device offline'. Can anyone help me to get the app working? Cameras are working fine and I can see them on the monitor connected to the harddrive. Just the app is not working. Appreciate any help!!

The Guardian365 App is an App for customers to use to remotely check their Uniden DVR Security Systems. This app give you the ability to check on your cameras remotely from anywhere in the world to view either one camera or multiple cameras at once. The App also gives you the ability to playback old recorded footage on the security system and even take photos directly to your smartphone from the security camera. The App also has push notifications to ensure you are always alerted when a camera detects motion or movement.
