This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MedStart on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

MedStARt è un’App educativa in realtà aumentata che offre contenuti tridimensionali agli utenti in cerca di un approccio esperienziale e interattivo nell’ambito medico.

L’ utente avrà la possibilità di fruire modelli tridimensionali vivendoli in prima persona grazie alla realtà aumentata marker based.

Vari modelli 3D nel campo bio – medico verranno messi a disposizione, con relative descrizioni e spiegazioni semplificate per facilitare l’apprendimento e portare conoscenze base della materia alla portata di tutti.
La possibilità da parte dell’utente di visualizzare un elemento tridimensionale del suddetto campo d’interesse, in tutte le sue angolazioni e forme, aiuta l’assimilazione di alcuni processi di funzionamento dello stesso in maniera visuale

L’iter tecnologico di user experience è molto semplice: dopo aver scaricato l’App e i relativi marker (questi possono essere visualizzati su schermo PC, smartphone, tablet o carta stampata), basterà aprire l’App, seguire le istruzioni presenti nel tutorial iniziale, e inquadrare il marker. Una volta apparso il modello digitale sarà possibile visionare le loro animazioni e descrizioni relative.
