About this app

Api di Bukit Menoreh adalah sebuah seri buku karangan S. H. Mintardja. Dalam seri itu terdapat 396 buku.

SH Mintardja atau lengkapnya Singgih Hadi Mintardja dikenal sebagai penulis cerita bersambung serial silat dengan nuansa sejarah Jawa, yang dimuat di beberapa surat kabar seperti Api Di Bukit Menoreh di Kedaulatan Rakyat. Ia pernah juga bekerja di Bagian Kesenian Jawatan Kebudayaan pada 1958, dan terakhir bekerja di Bidang Kesenian Kanwil Depdikbud DIY sampai pensiun pada tahun 1989.

Pada tahun 1967 menggelindingkan Api di Bukit Menoreh mengambil kisah berdirinya kerajaan Mataram Islam. Di sana ada tokoh Agung Sedayu, Swandaru, Kyai Gringsing, Sutawijaya, dan paling terakhir adalah Glagah Putih dan Rara Wulan — saudara sepupu sekaligus murid Agung Sedayu.

Ada sementara penggemar cerita SH Mintardja yang bilang, bila dijajarkan, maka cerita Api di Bukit Menoreh panjangnya melebihi jarak Anyer – Panarukan.
