الشيخ أبو العينين شعيشع‏، من قراء القرآن المصريين البارزين.

مولده ونشأته:
ولد الشيخ أبو العينين شعيشع في مدينة ومركز بيلا بمحافظة كفر الشيخ شمال مصر في 22 أغسطس 1922م، [1]. حفظ القران، وذاع صيته صبياً من خلال حفل أقيم بمدينة المنصورة سنة 1936. توفي يوم الخميس 21 رجب 1432 هـ الموافق 23 يونيو 2011م عن عمر يناهز 88 عاماً.
تلاوته بالإذاعة المصرية:
دخل الإذاعة المصرية سنة 1939م، وكان وقتئذ متأثراً بالشيخ محمد رفعت وكان على علاقة وطيدة به، وقد استعانت به الإذاعة لإصلاح الأجزاء التالفة من تسجيلات الشيخ محمد رفعت فقد كان من أبرع من استطاع تقليد الشيخ الكبير محمد رفعت‏‏. إتخذ الشيخ أبو العينين لنفسه أسلوباً خاصاً فريداً في التلاوة بدءاً من منتصف الأربعينيات وأخرج ما بصوته من إبداعات ونغمات كان قد كتمها لحين وقتها، وكان أول قارئ مصري يقرأ ب المسجد الأقصى، وزار سوريا والعراق في الخمسينيات. أصيب بمرض في صوته في مطلع الستينيات، غير أنه غلبه وعاد للتلاوة، وعين قارئاً ل مسجد عمر مكرم سنة 1969 م، ثم ل مسجد السيدة زينب منذ 1992 م. ناضل الشيخ في السبعينيات لإنشاء نقابة القراء مع كبار القراء وقتئذ مثل الشيخ محمود على البنا والشيخ عبد الباسط عبد الصمد إنتُخبَ نقيباً لها سنة 1988 م.
