About this app

OBJECTIVE

The use of Games supports Social and Emotional Learning skills (SEL) which have at their heart social interactions that promote Creativity, Problem Solving and Communication.

The principal objective of setting small goals is as follows:

- INFORM: setting small goals achieves this objective through the board layout, as its characters are designed on action steps and the language is action based Planning, Investing, Protection and Retirement.

- EDUCATE: setting small goals achieves this objective through transferring knowledge about financial planning and the 4 core areas of financial planning. The use of action words and action characters is designed to communicate the lesson of each step of the process.

- STIMULATE IQ: setting small goals achieves this objective by focusing the player from the start as the player has to mentally plan how to setup the pieces either the edges first or the centre first. This mental exercise teaches Strategy, Planning and introduces the player to teamwork activities as one will need a variety of teams to achieve their financial goals.
