القارئ إدريس بن محمد أبكر هو من قراء القرآن الكريم، ولد بمدينة جدة بالسعودية عام 1395 هـ الموافق 1975 م، وهو إمام جامع الشيخ زايد من أكبر مساجد العالم، كما أمّ العديد من المساجد في المملكة العربية السعودية، فهو من أشهر القراء، وحفظ القرآن الكريم منذ صغره
درس القرآن الكريم منذ الصغر حيث بدأ أولى مراحله في مسجد التوحيد وهو لم يتجاوز الثامنة من عمره وعاد والتحق بحلقات التحفيظ وهو ابن الثالثة عشر بجامع الفطاني، وحفظ القرآن الكريم خلال أربع سنوات من التحاقه بهذا الجامع وبدأ بإمامة المصلين به قرابة الثلاث سنوات، كما درس على أيدي كثير من المعلمين والمشايخ
