பன்னிரு சைவத் திருமுறைகளில் திருஞான சம்பந்தர் பாடிய தேவாரப் பாடல்கள் முதல் இரண்டாம் மற்றும் மூன்றாம் திருமுறைகளாக உள்ளன. இவற்றுள் இரண்டாம் திருமுறையில் உள்ள பதிகங்களில் ஒன்று கோளறு பதிகம் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

ஞானசம்பந்தர் பரம கருணையோடு அருளியுள்ள சக்தி வாய்ந்த கோளறு பதிகத்தை அனுதினமும் பாராயணம் புரிவதன் மூலம் கர்ம வினையின் வேகத்தை சர்வ நிச்சயமாய் குறைத்துக் கொள்ள முடியும்.

இந்தப் பதிகத்தைப் பாடுவோரை கிரஹங்கள் தாக்காது. இதை நாம் சொல்லவில்லை; ஞானசம்பந்தரே சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.

பிரமாபுரத்துத் தோன்றி மறைஞானம் பெற்ற ஞான முனிவன் ஆகிய ஞானசம்பந்தன், வினைப்பயனால் தாமே வந்துறும் கோளும் நாளும் பிறவும் அடியவரை வந்து நலியாத வண்ணம் பாடிய சொல்லால் இயன்ற மாலையாகிய இப்பதிகத்தை ஓதும் அடியவர்கள் வானுலகில் அரசு புரிவர். இது நமது ஆணை.
