Disco Dance Club Songs has experienced a few incarnations since its beginning in 1974. Initially a main-ten rundown of tracks that gathered the biggest crowd reaction in New York City the graph started on October 26, 1974 under the title Disco Action. The diagram happened to characteristic playlists from different urban areas around the nation from week to week.
