West Coast hip hop is a hip hop music subgenre that incorporates any specialists or music that starts in the Western United States locale of the United States. The gangsta rap subgenre started to overwhelm from a radio play and deals point of view throughout the early 1990s with the conception of G-funk and the rise of Suge Knight's Death Row Records.
