This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Carols SingAlong on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

Christmas SingAlong. Selection of carols with piano accompaniment if required

Myself and a few friends decided to join in the carols, I had no hymn book and forgot the words... So, I created a simple app with them in. Then I kept forgetting the tune, so thought an accompaniment might do the trick ! I recorded my wife playing and added the tracks.
Now several of us can rely on our mobiles and have a carol SingAlong - Taking it to our friends front doors in the hope of some Christmas cheer.
I added the German translation as I always loved to hear Silent night spoken in my mothers tongue - I then wondered what it sounded like In French, Spanish & Italian. Some guess work was required in searching for the translations. If I have any translations wrong please drop me a line with some guidance I may get it right for next year. Thank you

If you want to read the lyrics while the accompaniment plays, Choose your carol with the chosen language, drop down the menu, select the required melody and press 'back' on your phone or navigate via the drop down from the top bar. This will take you back to the lyrics with an intro giving you time to get back to the lyrics. I will look at controlling the music from the lyrics page later.
I'll add content as I go along - Any preferences, I will try to oblige.
