I've been using this for years and after you learn all it's tricks, I can say this is one of the most used on my devices. Switched ti it years ago after TuneIn screwed their paid users. Give it a shot. Learn about using both shoutcast and Uber choices for finding the stations you are looking for. I bet you find them most of the time.

Why does Google allow applications to not close from task manager? Opening an app just to exit it takes WAY too much time. When I try to exit from task manager it doesn't properly exit. The annoying notification thing doesn't go away. I HATE programs like that. Obey the request to exit. In my case I sooner hit uninstall. Unacceptable program.

This is my favorite radio app! However, I wish it had recording functionality, and the ability to add stations by url. Not having that, I am often forced to use other radio apps.

It used to be great, but now the audio stream keeps breaking up, even with the best internet connection. It seems the developers did not keep up with new versions of Android. Too bad.

Brill radio player , I've used this same app for many years without any glitches ,one point to be aware of is the surround sound (virtualizer ) because this also enables or disables my surround sound settings in the main music player app that's stock android ,bear that in mind when you loose surround sound on your main player ,all you need to do is enable it in this apps graphic equaliser & it then enables main player.Emergency services bands are also available in this app likes airband-police

Issues!! App hasn't been updated in over two years. Appears developer doesn't reply to comments. Certainly hasn't replied to an issue I e-mailed few weeks ago. They got me for the pro version though. Pretty sad. This could be a really nice app.
