The god Krishna is understood to be an eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Krishna is technically the black god, since sanskrit word Krishna means "black." However, he is generally depicted with blue skin. Krishna is the one of the most popular, both as an avatar and as a god. His Character presents two different aspects.
