This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Wear Audio Recorder on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

I have this app on one of the Custom Buttons on my Zenwatch 3 and it is easy to record quick voice notes. 1 item I would like to see in a future update is to show the recording length. Also - this app works without cell or Wi-Fi connection meaning that I can record my parking spot in an underground lot when Google Assistant and Bixby fail.

Could be very good because it's easy to use and can be used as a standalone recorder and player on the Wear. But since the quality of the recording cannot be modified (for better quality), the file format is hidden and cannot be played with any other apps, it's completely useless.
