license? X11? Did you mean GPL 1 or later? If you are using Android you infact are using the Linux Kernel.

The only thing that is really Linux on Android is the kernel. Everything from GUI and graphics to apps is contained in API's which are all ran through the dalvik which is nothing more than a Java virtual machine.
