About this app

YourPadosi is a mobile app of YourPadosi.com - a social site for neighbours. Through this platform,one can remain touch with neighbours by posting messages on common news feed page(Pulse), comments/like messages and see profiles of neighbours.

Only the registered users are allowed to login through mobile app. After login, they are directed to Pulse.

Pulse: The users can view latest messages by reading and scrolling the screen. To read more messages, the user has to click on More. On any post, the user can like or unlike. He has to click the Like link just below the post. After Like, he may click Unlike to reverse his liking of the post. The count on the no. of likes is shown below the message.

The user can comment by clicking the Comment link. The app will provide a text box to write. The user can then post the comment by clicking the top-right post button.

At the top right corner, the user can click the Post. This open a page with Subject, message box and facility to attach an image. The image can either be attached from the phone library(see reel icon)/ by camera shot(see camera icon).

On the top left corner, the user can click the icon to open the navigational menu. The user, here, can see his avatar image, name and three links-Pulse, My Neighbours and Send Message. He can also logout from here.

My Neighbours: The link takes the user to My Neighbours where he can see the list of neighbours. Here, he can search any neighbour. On selecting any neighbour from the list, he can view his profile, send a private message or call him directly using the phone icon

Send Message: The user can click this to open a page where he can send the message after filling the subject and message fields.

We have added Facebook login, This facility helps the user to login through his Facebook ID. To use this facility, the user should be registered as a Facebook user in web Application - Yourpadosi.com

On the login screen, the user can either his/her username and password to login or click on Login with Facebook. when he clicks on Facebook login, a pop-up login box appears. It prompts the user to fill his/her Facebook username and Facebook password. The user then logins by clicking the Login button. On authentication, the user is sent to Pulse Page.
For normal login, You can use this username and password

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
