Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LingoBites on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Well designed and easy to use. I like that his app helps me get beyond just memorizing new words to a more natural learning with short stories. It helps get me thinking in Spanish. Having both written and audio of the language I am trying to learn is great, speeds up my learning :)

Very user-friendly. The stories are short and sweet. They are nicely categorised into genres. Whether you are English wanting to read Spanish or Spanish, learning English thus is a great way to get experience of language-learning. Even if you just enjoy reading it's good fun. Would like to see more language options. Overall a lovely app.

I was part of the Beta testing of this app and now that the majority of the bugs seem to have been worked out. I'm happy to say that I thoroughly recommend this app. A very innovative and fun way to improve language skills with minimal faff.

Wish it offered more languages. Didn't realize it was to learn Spanish so I created an account and now I can't find a way to delete it.

We've updated some of the underlying code to improve performance and reduce what access we're asking for from your phone.
