About this app

This application is created for white noise based sensory deprivation experiments. You can achieve better results if you use audio- and vr-headset to exclude the sounds and lights of the outer world.

The applications starts with a settings screen, you can change the colour, speed and resolution of the generated pattern (the noise source is actually a pseudorandom algorithm). With 'Palette Type' combobox you can select MONOCHROME or COLORFUL shades. MONOCHROME palette will contain only the shades of the selected colour and black. If you select the COLORFUL palette then RGB components will be freely generated between the black-base and the RGB values of the selected colour. Thus if you choose white colour as base then you will get a palette with all the possible RGB variations. The application has a special OCTARINE colour palette also which tries to give back the Octarine colour of the Discworld of Terry Pratchett.

This application was inspired by a small conversation at Arcanorium College.
