Kartun animasi ini banyak mendapat pujian dan respon positif dari berbagai kalangan,
mulai dari anak kecil hingga dewasa. Meski baru beberapa konten yang di upload,
animasi ini dinilai sangat edukatif dimana didalam ceritanya mengajarkan tentang sunnah Nabi Muhammad SAW.
Salah satu respon positif berasal dari seorang mualaf yang juga sebagai ustadz, yaitu Felix Siauw.
Dalam unggahan akun instagram miliknya ia mengatakan, “Alhamdulillah satu persatu doa Allah terjawab,
dengan cara yang paling indah tentunya, dan kita yakini di waktu yang paling tepat. Salah satunya animasi anak Nussa,”katanya.
Meski channel youtube sudah ada sejak Oktober lalu, animasi ini baru
menggemparkan tanah air tercinta saat meluncurkan teaser pada 08 November 2018
telah ditonton oleh satu juta viewers. Kemudian animasi Nusa dan Rara ini menggebrak pada
peluncuran episode pertamanya bertepatan dengan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 20 November 2018 (12 Rabiul Awal 1440 H)
yang berjudul, Nussa : Tidur Sendiri, Gak Takut! Sekarang ini lagi trending
topic di youtube nomor tiga loh sobat pong-pong, dan hampir dua juta orang yang sudah menontonnya.
