Way too difficult to use, and even when you get the hang of it one wrong finger press destroys all of your work in a playlist. You can tell this was not designed by someone who actually uses music players, no one who actually listens to music on their phone would ever want a UI like this. Unfortunately this app does have the best range of support for music formats, so for many its the only option. Worst UI I've ever seen. BTW, "old school approach" does NOT mean "Playlist only" idiot.

When I reboot my phone, I briefly see an empty aimp notification player in the lock screen even though the player has not been used. Can I disable or hide that? This really is a thoughtfully designed app. You can customize the detailed graphic equalizer by swiping the pattern you desire with your finger:) If you set the AIMP layout to Tablet (on a phone) you get the player on top and playlist on the bottom in one screen:) Wish you can drag a dividing line to make player smaller and playlist higher... nitpicking here but even so, this is a beautiful lightweight app. Been using the Windows version for many years.Thank you.

Just installed and really love it! I will use it for .wav backing tracks on my tablet for music performance. Sound is better than ever - concert quality. Old school list format is perfect for live performance.

There is a lot to like, but... The sliders for the equalizer and a couple of other things are impossible to control finely. Move a spider off of 0 and you won't get it back without reseting. The text could Ali be bigger. The most EQ bands I have seen in this for of app. Perhaps too many. If you don't want to Mrs with any sliders then this is a 4 star app increase font size where there's room and it could be a 5 star. The app is easy to use unless you want to adjust the sliders.

The randomizer works very well, and the ability to override it with manual selections is wonderful. I'd give it a 5 out of 5, but one thing I think it's missing is the ability to lock in a randomized list, so once you hit the end everything is reset

Great music playback app to replace Google Music! I have one problem though, an alert of the app appears even when I dismiss the alert and the app is closed. The alert shows the name of one of my songs (the same one even if it's not what was last played) and a play button.
