The services are great, but you are better off subscribing (for free) to them via a podcast app where you will have better controls. On this app, once you start scrolling through the text you lose access to the only sound control, which has no rewind or forward. From a podcast app (I use Pocket Casts) you can follow a link in the podcast's details to the C of E webpage where that day's text may be found and follow the prayers from there.

A very good app. Please could it be enabled for smart speaker? I would love to just be able to say "Alexa play Daily Prayer". That has now been done. Thank you.

From the earliest days of Christianity, Christians have gathered at regular times each day and night to read the Bible, praise God and pray for the world. Daily Prayer helps the Christians of today take part in this regular pattern of worship.

For every day of the year, it presents material for Morning, Evening and Night Prayer in both contemporary (Common Worship) and traditional (Book of Common Prayer) forms. All services are provided in full and include Bible readings (NRSV translation), psalms, canticles and seasonal variations.

The app also allows you to:

- Switch between Contemporary and Traditional formats with one click
