Unable to select BMT date. No green dots. Won't let you proceed further. The only reason I downloaded it was to get ready for Basic Training

Countdown does not work

The ship date countdown doesn't work. The main reason I downloaded this app was for the dramatic fancy countdown of how long till I leave for BMT. Every time I try to select my ship date, it gives me an error message. I have tried this every day for over a month, updated the app regularly, told my recruiter, and tried deleting and re-downloading the app. I really want this app to work, but it won't let me.

I install and it never opens

It's a really useful app but the problem is that when I try to put my ship date it says it is not a valid ship date and it should have a green dot but there is no green dot to be seen.
