2Baba is a Nigerian musician, songwriter, song producer and entrepreneur.

His real name is Innocent Ujah Idibia. But he is popularly known as 2Baba (previously 2face).

Without doubt, he is one of the most decorated and successful Afro pop artists in Africa, and is also one of the most bankable artists in Africa.

2Baba was born on 18 September 1975 and is therefore aged 42 as of September 2018.

Musical career
2Baba started involving in music more while studying at IMT. He participated and performed at shows and parties organised within and around his institution.

As things would turn out to be, 2Baba dropped out from school so as to pursue his musical career.

He chose the then popular “2Face” or “Tuface” as his stage name in 1996.

He moved to Lagos and started performing with Blackface Naija (Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo), whom he had met while studying at MIT.

They got back together again in 2007, after sorting out their discrepancies, and released their third album, Plan B.

However, their reunion did not last for too long, since the sole purpose of them getting back together was to release “Plan B”.

2Baba began his solo musical career in 2004, immediately after the initial dissolution of Plantashun Boiz. He released the award-winning “African Queen” during that same period.
